Wanted to mention that I saw this restaurant on season two of Charlie's Angels "Angles On The Run" episode and according to the pict. is hasn't changed much which I this is great, I don't like much change, lol. I am in KY but my brother lives in LA and maybe I can come and experience the food when I come for a vivist sometime!

Comments: Backwoods Inn was fantastic! I had the fish and chips, my mom had the poor boy pizza, My dad had the chili size and my husband had the ribs. All meals were perfect and my parents can't wait to go back. I am chomping at the bit to return to the kind of restaurant that I remember as a child. Love it , love it, love it!!!!

Comments: simply cannot provide. I've only eaten at Outback Steakhouse once, and I hated it! Their servers were teenagers who didn't know what they were doing, their food was mediocre at best, and their atmosphere was that of a computer chip -- stamped out like every other chain across this country, But the Backwoods Inn...now this is a place that offers excellent food, superb character, and stylish decor...(trimmed)

Comments: Have always loved going to Backwoods Inn. Back in high school, I would take my dates to BI, also tried to order drinks but the waitresses were strict so I had to settle for soda. LOL Anyway, its my favorite restaurant although now I live in the Antelope Valley and its a longer drive than from Newhall. Will still keep coming forever!!!! Comments: You have undoubtedly gotten zillions of emails like this, but I got snookered by your web page and am furious :) I/we were intensely loyal B.I. patrons when we lived in Valencia from '85-'94. We ate take-out as often as we ate in. And we loved the potatoes. God how we loved the potatoes. Now we are in Seattle and have yet to find some in the same league.
